The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake holds a special place in my heart. In 2021 I decided I wanted to expand my love for weddings so I took on the roll of assistant to the lead wedding planners at the Lodge. (Yes, I did have some “Mary” (character played by JLo in the movie “The Wedding Planner”) moments in my time as a assistant wedding planner).During my time there, I got to watch so many couples start a new chapter in their fairytale story.

The Lodge is such a unique and elegant venue for anyone’s big day. I have seen this place decorated in multiple ways for multiple weddings and it just goes well with any theme. I decided one day to bring my camera in and capture some of my favorite spots around the venue. While I was taking some shots I got this exciting thought *I hope to one day be able to shoot a wedding here, I would love to capture someones special day at this beautiful venue*. Well flash forward to 2023… I finally had that dream come true. When I heard my couple was getting married at the Lodge my jaw dropped & that same feeling from when I was taking those photos when I worked there came back to me. I am over the moon excited for my Mountain Springs Lake wedding couple to tie the knot this August & to finally shoot at one of my favorite venues.
